In 2025, BlackBelt received the Mendix Delivery Excellence certification. With it, Mendix recognises partners with a proven record of delivering high-quality Mendix solutions. According to BlackBelt's announcement of September 2025, it was the first and only company in the region to receive this certification.

What does the Delivery Excellence certification mean?

Delivery Excellence is a Mendix partner certification that measures the quality of project delivery. According to Dutch IT Channel's article of 28 November 2025, Mendix assesses expertise and project results, but also customer satisfaction, delivery processes, governance and continuous improvement. According to the article, the partner must also have an internal organisation that ensures quality at the organisational level.

The certification therefore does not recognise a single successful project, but the fact that the partner's delivery practice works reliably and repeatably over the long term.

How many Mendix partners hold it?

The certification marks a small group. According to BlackBelt's LinkedIn announcement of September 2025, Mendix was working with 234 partner companies worldwide at the time, and 28 of them held the Delivery Excellence certification. The same announcement states that BlackBelt was the first in the region to receive it, and at the time the only one holding it.

What did Mendix recognise in the partnership?

With the certification, Mendix recognised the competence and reliability of BlackBelt's team on both domestic and international projects. This is how BlackBelt's announcement of September 2025 summarised it, and in its year-in-review post of December 2025 BlackBelt named the certification one of the defining moments of the year.

According to the year-in-review, the certification confirmed that the team's expertise, reliability and project delivery stand up to international standards.
